"farrago, of lies and shibboleths" I'm gonna have to look those two words up.
"This is an untruth unworthy even of him."
It will be interesting to read the letters page tomorrow to see whether others agree with Keating on this.
The other day I was searching YouTube (to no avail) to see if I could find Keating's celebratory speech from the night of the 1993 election - the one he wasn't expected to win. My memory of that speech was one of compassion but from what I've read about it was not the most humble of victory speeches. There is other stuff of Paul on there though.

I forgot to say that I liked that comment about Howard.
