A Trip To Williamsburg

Last Sunday I went, for the first time to a neighbourhood of Brooklyn, Williamsburg. It is only two stops from Union Square on the L train. The L train has the new information screens, which weren't working.
Williamsburg is a very nice neighbourhood, reminded me a little of Brisbane's West End.

some advertising

urban landscape

a very nice green and red building

Walking back to Manhattan across the Williamsburg bridge, The view of Midtown, where I live

A sign with some historical information, and some graffiti

the bridge

a couple of more famous bridges

more graffitied official information

and back to Manhattan, no graffiti

That colorful building is a remnant of... painting the town red
;-)
