What's in a Name ?
What to call the blog? The blog is but 6 months old and the name has changed a few times already. Not sure I'm entirely happy with the current name, but it will do for now.

You look familiar. Have you lived in Sydney or does your photo just remind me of someone else. By the way, great photos you have been posting. I lived in the lower east side for 5 months in 90/91. A six floor walk up with a staircase that slanted inwards.
I'm also curious as to what some of the previous names were for your blog?
Hmmm.
A friend of mine uses the phrase "pedestrian" as a synonym for "bland to the point of ugly". Not sure if that's a recognised definition...
Does this make Pedestrian Fair a sort of fête? A festival of the crushingly average? A carnival of the soul-destroyingly mediocre? Or, now that you've gone for the homo-nym (har har... sorry), Fare, is it now a food item lacking in flavour, or other culinary essences?
Perhaps Pedestrian is used in the original sense... yanno, walking... which would make your blog either a large, open space full of stalls and tents with many ambulatory patrons in constant Brownian motion...
...or perhaps said patrons, assuming Fare, are simply consuming a portable dish whilst enroute to their many and varied destinations? Perhaps your blog is something to consume merely en passant, whilst journeying unto other cyberscapes?
...could it be that Pedestrian is just a clever pun on your name? Pedestr-IAN? And what does that say of the prefix? I look at "pedestr" and I can't help but see the word... pederasty...
...but I think maybe that says more about me than it does about you.
Anyhoo. Time I slunk back off into the murk of the Intarweb.
Well I hope deemacgee has cleared some things up for you. I'm certainly feeling wiser if not slightly intimidated by his observations. I feel like a mere mortal. I like his point about Pedestr-IAN. Was that deliberate on your part.
